With the built-in voice assistant on the S8 it is possible to use voice commands to set room cleaning modes and precise control with just your voice.
2. Yeedi Cube
If you're looking for a hands-free robot vacuum with mopping capabilities The Yeedi Cube is one of the more versatile choices. It's one of a variety of robot vacuums with combo features that also feature mops but is priced at a cheaper price than many of the competitors.
Like most robovacs, the Yeedi Cube requires a little bit of work in order to get started, including setting up an account on the official app of the manufacturer and connecting it to your WiFi network. Once you've completed that, the robot will start vacuuming and mops with ease.
It's worth noting that mapping takes a while, and it may take a few times before the Yeedi Cube has an accurate image of your space. The object detection feature is not perfect. It was able to skirt around furniture and other obstacles however, it got stuck on a rug with tassels and had to flip over to release itself. These aren't major issues and the Yeedi Cube remains a great option for those looking for an all-purpose cleaning tool that can do it all.
3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete
The Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete is a home cleaning solution. Its innovative mopping system uses an alternating motion that's similar to hand scrubbers. This results in floors being cleaned and not just swept. And its detachable stick vacuum is a game-changer that allows you to reach spots even robotic vacuums aren't able to reach.
The model is basically identical to the popular X2 Omni, but with an increased suction power of 8700Pa, and a few additional smart features. The upgraded RGBD sensor can learn your home's surroundings better and provide dynamic obstacle avoidance. And auto vacuum cleaner lets you adjust a variety of settings, including scheduling, AI cleanings, and setting virtual boundaries.
The X2 Combo is also self-prepping, with both the robot vacuum as well as the mop returning to their charging base after each job to wash their pads, empty their dust bins, and put the waste in the self-sealing bags. This helps to keep the system clean and also prevents allergens from returning to the system. Its battery longevity is sufficient to cover large areas without the need for a recharge during cleaning.

As one of the premium robot vacuum and mop models that we have reviewed, the Eufy S1 Pro offers impressive features for the price. It also features a unique mopping method that utilizes a roller continuously sprayed with water to collect dirt, and then dump it into the dirty water tank.
Its navigation system was efficient. It avoided steps and walked close to walls without falling. It had trouble with fine particles and didn't always clear the thresholds in rooms. The operating noise level is also quite high, and it could be less of a "set-and-forget" model than others.
Like most robotic vacuums and mops the S1 Pro comes with a docking station that can replenish its clean water, empty its dustbin and mop pad, and wash and dry its mop. This makes maintenance easier and allows the S1 Pro spend more time cleaning floors in line with the regular schedule. Eufy's app allows you to manage all the functions. It gives you clear information and plenty of configuration options.
5. Freo X Ultra
The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum/mower is among the top mowers and vacuums that are available. It offers impressive vacuuming and mopping results. Its LIDAR mapping sensor can detect furniture legs and other obstacles with good precision. The app allows users to fine-tune coverage of the map, define no-go zones, and modify cleaning preferences. The main roller brush of the Freo is also designed to stop hair from wrapping around it, which could be an issue for many robotic vacuums.
The Mop Mode is impressive too it comes with Reuleaux triangular mops that spin at 180 RPM and apply up to 12N of downward pressure. The mopping system also includes intelligent carpet detection, lifting the pads up when they're close to soft surfaces to avoid contaminating them with.
The docking station functions as an automated maintenance center that is able to wash and dry the mops, then refills them with detergent and distillate water. The base station also features integrated dust processing that compacts dust over 7 weeks of uninterrupted operation, unlike traditional robot vacuums that empty their bins of dust every time they need to be cleaned.
6. S10
A few hundred dollars cheaper than the S8 This robot does an excellent job at keeping my home office clean and can also tackle the corners of my tight apartment. It utilizes a laser mapping system and camera to create a 3D map of your home so it can know what to stay clear of. In addition, unlike other vacuums that have mopping capabilities it also has detection of objects and obstructions that is able to avoid things like bowls for dogs and dog toys (but not poop!).
Other fantastic features include a self emptying dustbin and a mop that is self-washing, adjustable to water temperature, and an extended side-reaching brush that is able to reach areas that other mops miss. You can also adjust the settings for each room and set up cleaning schedules.
Like the S8, it has multi-room smart mapping and can differentiate between carpets, laminate and hardwood with high-pile rugs. It can also avoid mopping rooms that are not clean if you want to reduce time. If you have a wide range of flooring in your house and don't want to spend additional money for a Roborock that comes with advanced mapping capabilities it is a great option.
7. Q5 Pro
This robot is a great choice to consider if you're looking for a versatile robot that can do both regular maintenance and touch-ups to messy water stains. It has a range of features that include a self-emptying dustbin and a separate dock to refill water, and adjustable settings that can be adjusted via the app. It's surprisingly quiet and can easily maneuver around furniture legs or socks. It's unable to pick up knots in the rug and it drains its battery faster than other models we tested.
With a price tag of less than $250 it's the Q5 Pro is a bargain-friendly powerhouse that packs serious suction and useful automation into a slick design. It wasn't as efficient as the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra in our tests for vacuuming however, it performed very well. It comes with a variety of cleaning options, ranging from the low-power 'Quiet mode' for light debris to the incredibly powerful "Turbo mode" for carpeted areas. It even has the ability to automatically remove and replace its mop pads, without getting your carpets wet.
8. K10 Plus
The K10 Plus is a great mop and robot vacuum for people who live in small areas. It's quiet and quick, and it does a great job of maneuvering around tight spaces. It also does a very good job of removing pet hair off carpeting.
It's smaller than its rivals however it doesn't sacrifice any features. It has a decent suction capacity and can be programmed to take photos of each object it finds (i.e. chew toys socks, chew toys) and mark them in the app as "not located', so that they will not be removed in future cleanings. Its photos are encrypted, and are not tied to your account.
It's great for vacuuming, but not so well in mopping. It uses disposable wet wipes that you clip onto the bottom of the bot, and then it drags them across your floor. Compare this to the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra or Narwhal that have water reservoirs, and automatically wash and attach their mopheads.
